Active pending changes

Hi there,

currently using the Raw 1.6.0p5 Edition on a server.
I have made a couple of changes in regards to a user and contact groups as well as “assignment of hosts to contact groups”. However, I seem to be stuck in the current state and wato always sends an error message. I have about 20 pending changes.

When I try to activate the pending changes the following error comes:
State: Failed. Started at: 08:46:53. Finished at: 08:46:55.
Failed: Error running automation call restart (exit code 1), error:
not all arguments converted during string formatting

However, when I try to discard the changes:
Error running automation call restart (exit code 1), error:
not all arguments converted during string formatting

I already tried taking a look at cmk -O and cmk -R (all okay) and there seems to be no pending.log in ~/var/check_mk/wato/log/ but only an audit log ([Check_mk (english)] Activate Changes and pending.log):

Generating configuration for core (type nagios)…OK
Validating Nagios configuration…OK
Precompiling host checks…OK
Reloading monitoring core…OK

Thanks in advance! Really appreciate your help!

Hi,

you can delete the file containing the changes, I don’t recall it’s name right now but I’ll edit later.
Search inside /omd/ should be there

Cheers

Try to check your configuration with cmk --debug --vvX to look what happens.
