Author of historic downtimes

Hi,

I think this question has been asked before with no concluding answer and this regards Checkmk version 2.
In the “Downtime history” view there is no author listed, it’s only listed in current downtimes. I tried to add the author in a copy of that view, but either I am doing something wrong, or it’s not possible to add the author to that view.
If not possible, how can I determine the author of a past downtime?

Hi,

You can find it in log files. Please check archive of nagios/nagios.log files and try searching for “SCHEDULE_HOST_DOWNTIME”.

Hi,

I’m using cmc and therefore there is no nagios.log. How do I search for this, when using cmc?

I’m also interested in this topic. It is interesting that “Downtime History” do not show author of downtime, IMO it is pretty important info.

I’ve added column Contact to the view, but nothing shows.
