AWS cost monitoring -- question about the vertical axis

is the scale used on the graphing for AWS costs in pure dollars?
if so, why would I see “m” and “u” on the vertical scale when I look at some of the graphs?
from what I can tell, some of the services don’t generate much cost (i.e. < 1$) but is there a cleaner way to represent these values ?
