Best Way to Automate the Activation of Changes for Hosts Discovered by Network Scan?

Hi everyone,

We are using the network scan feature within a folder to automatically discover network devices such as switches. The discovery itself works well, and newly found hosts are added to the folder as expected.

What would be the best approach to automate both the discovery process and the activation of pending changes?

Currently, we are considering the following workflow:

  1. Configure a dedicated time window for the network scan (for example, from 06:00 to 07:00).
  2. Create a script that periodically checks for pending activations. If there are open changes generated by the network discovery process, the script would automatically trigger an Activate Changes action.

Has anyone implemented a similar setup, or is there a more elegant or recommended way to automate this process?

Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
