Hi Guys,
How can I show Windows Services individually in Wato?
I can see the services and his states when I downloaded the agent output.
Thanks,
Vagner Fonseca

Hi Vagner,
take a look at the “Windows Service Discovery” rule inside WATO.
With this rule you can define what services you want to discover.
Or you use the rule “Windows Services” inside manual checks.
Booth rules can can do what you want, the first one implicit. the second one explicit.
Best regards
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
That works perfectly. Amazing tips you had me.
Theres some like that to SNMP? Like we put the OID and name of check and the generic manual check get the data about this specific OID in the host?
Thanks again,
Vagner Fonseca

Hi Vagner,
I don’t think we have for SNMP. Maybe you can use a Check_SNMP Plugin.
Thanks & Regards,
Praveen

Like Praveen already told there is no generic SNMP check. But you can use such a checkmk SNMP template.
https://github.com/Yogibaer75/Check_MK-Things/tree/master/templates/snmp_single_item_check
This only reads one OID. You have to replace the placeholder strings and insert a name plus the wanted OID.
But also read a little bit about checkmk and the concept of checks there.
https://checkmk.de/cms_legacy_devel_snmpbased.html
This is old documentation but to understand the concept it is ok.
Best regards
Andreas
