Checkmk CRE to get OS version details remotely of a VM

Hi Team,

We are using Checkmk Raw Edition 2.1.0p5, we have a requirement in our organization to fetch OS details of n number of systems.
Can it be done using checkmk?

Hi.

You can roll out the HW/SW Inventory plugin to your systems with OS agent. You will find it in “~/share/check_mk/agents/plugins”.After that, you should switch on the HW/SW Inventory via rule.

Hi,

Thank you, yes, I have done that and about to export the perfect data received from checkmk plugin to my management.
But was thinking if this data could be exported in PDF format? As it looks tidier and neater.
As we dont want to give access to anyone in checkmk so was thinking how to present the tree structure Inventory data over email?

Exporting to PDF is a CEE feature.

Yeah ok, Thank you.
Even if I am exporting in csv, the data is not at all coming properly. It’s coming like below.
