Checkmk high availability in Azure on RHEL 8

Hello,

I have the request to run checkmk with high availability in AZURE.
We do not trust the HA solutions provided by AZURE and the checkmk virtual appliance doesnt work in AZURE because no console is available.
For current Situation I am also limited to RedHat 8 operating system.
For block based replication DRBD is not available in RHEL8 and GlusterFS is not an option because its a user space FS and thats not compatible with filesystem capabilities used since 1.6.
I am currently looking in to GFS2 and CVLM but I just started and I am not sure what challenges this solution may provide.

So, my question to the forum is: Is there anyone out there, who did already a HA setup with checkmk on RHEL8 in AZURE and may could share some tips/experience/best practices about.

Any help is much appreciated

regards

Michael
