Hi all,
i have a problem on our cisco switches.
We check our Switches with snmp and we have the ceckmk Enterprise v2 .
The ports are shown in checkmk only with DOM and a number. I believe it is the digital optical monitoring information from the transceiver. It looks like the example below
[DOM 300000013] Status: OK, Signal power: -1.27 dBm 2022-06-08 08:32:37 57.1 s
What i want is the naming of the ports fc1/4 or eth1/X like the information on the switch in the example below
fc1/1 5 auto off up
To see the port description were a additional cool point like
fc1/1 is up
Port description is sto-1082_a_01
I believe it is possible but i have no idea to get it done.
Is there a short guide to get the information the switchport in checkmk?
