Colorize background in dashboards no longer working

I’ve noticed that certain color capabilities are missing in the dashboards. I have a dashboard that I set up in version 1.6 to color code the state of the hosts (UP, DOWN, UNREACHABLE, PENDING, DOWNTIME):

This no longer works.

Are the developers aware of this? Will it be fixed soon?
