Configuring Grafana to monitor windows tasks plugin from Checkmk

Hi everyone,

I am trying to make a new dashboard in Grafana to monitor windows tasks plugin on a server. With the following (almost vanilla) settings:

  • Query : CheckMK
  • hostname : target host
  • Service: Task<my_intended_task>
  • Mode: Single Metric
    But there is no metrics available and also get “no data to show”.

Are there more steps in between?

I think as the “Task” check has no metrics then you will also get no metrics in Grafana.
The actual connection from Grafana to CMK can only deliver performance data no status data.

Is there any suggested platform (other than ChackMk web app) to monitor status of the services?
