Creating piggyback information with datasource program

Hi there,

im trying to createa a datasource program, which will create piggyback information for multiple service at once per host.
It took me a while to get to the point, that the piggyback files are created (i create them).

So i have my piggyback files in the right directory and my hosts should be using them, but they aren’t.
And this “error” line is where im now:

Piggyback file /omd/sites/<site>/tmp/check_mk/piggyback/<host>/<host>is outdated (Source not se nding piggyback). Skip processing.

Someone has an idea, how i can fix this? I couldn’t find any information based on datasource-piggyback files and because this is a datasource program, i can’t “add” the piggy information to the agent output. :upside_down_face:

Cheers

I don’t know if it’ll solve your root problem.
But you can increase MAXIMUM AGE FOR PIGGYBACK FILES in Global Settings …

And have you tried to do inventory the hosts after that?

Yep, i did that too, but like i said, he won’t use the “fresh” (<10s) created piggyback files.
Becauce of that, i can’t find my local-Services.

Has no one else an idea for this problem?

How often is your system sending piggyback? What’s your check interval?
