Customization folder for notification plugins jira_issues?

CMK version: 2.2.0p43cee
OS version: Debian 12.11

I want to customize that jira_issues.py file located at:
/opt/omd/versions/2.2.0p43.cee/lib/python3/cmk/cee/notification_plugins/jira_issues.py

But I don’t know where to copy my changed version of jira_issues.py so it survives an upgrade of CMK.

I have tried ~/local/share/check_mk/notification/ but in this folder my changes doesn’t take effect (in comparrison to the original folder where my changes work).

Where should I copy it?

AFAIK this is not possible any more.

You should just make a copy and rename it.
