Disable notifications on service/host level via GUI Commands v2.0.0p5 cfe

Hello,

is there a way to disable/enable notifications via Comands menu ? I am missing a quick option to achieve that. I dont want to create a rule for that nor send an API call.

The documentaions shows an option i simply cannot find.

Thanks for your help.

Robert

In 2.0 the default administrator role does not have the permission for that setting anymore. You either have to edit the administrator role or the role you assigned to your user to have that permission.
You will find these settings here: “Setup > Users > Roles & Permissions” and the setting in question for the role is under “Commands on host and services” and is called “Enable/disable notifications”. If your user has this permission you should see “Notifications” in the Commands-menu.

Awesome that did the trick, Thank you so much for the hint.

Additonal you should also grant the permission: “Reset modified attributes” otherwise you can’t go back to the default, rule based behaviour for this service.
