Distriuted monitoring Check_MK Raw Edition

Hey team,

We are running Check_MK Raw Edition (with nagios core) and have distributed monitoring setup with a master and 8 slave boxes and replication enabled. We haven’t enabled the git repo on the master since we do not want everything inside ~/etc/check_mk to be replicated/synced.

Is there a way to manually force a sync from master to all slaves preferably from the command line ?

Thing is If we change a single wato rule on the master server, we want it to be replicated on all the 8 sites. As of now, this is not happening. A small rule change in say for example the filesystem check limits does not cause a sync and activation to happen to all the slaves. Only if we manually edit each of the slave connections, make no changes and save it and then activate , will it sync and activate the changes to all slaves. Is there a way to better accomplish this ?

Thanks !

If the modified rule lies inside the main directory of your WATO folder it should trigger a sync to all sites.
If the rules only affects a single site the only this site will be synced.
