Escalating Notifications

Using CheckMK 2.0.0p7, I am trying to learn how to handle situations where if a system is rebooted for patching, it notifies a large group. Instead, I would like to initially only notify a small group and then if a problem has persisted for longer than XX minutes, another larger group is notified. Can anyone point to documentation that explains how to do this. I cant seem to figure it out with the CheckMK online docs.
