currently i use the checkmk Event Console e.g. to alert the AIX errlog errors. I forward the events of checkmk EC to an external event management system. That works well so far. But now I have set a “Limit event lifetime” in checkmk, so that the open alarms will close after 10 minutes. Unfortunately the closing of the events is not forwarded to the external system via notification. It would be desirable if an automatic event clearing in checkmk would be passed on to the notification system, as it works with service alarms.
