Event Console with SNMP Traps

Hello dear community, trying to use Event Console to capture SNMP traps but having issues to understand how to do so, readed implementation from docs not sure but I think docs most explains syslog.I have following issues:

  1. how I can debug, SNMP Traps processing? Like imagine an admin going to setup event console rules to capture SNMP traps, what path he should follow
  2. What is useful tools, for example I cant find a way to send test SNMP traps from SonicWall firewall. How can I utilize checkmk test generator to act like SonicWall firewall SNMP Trap.
