No you cant, because this “dropdown” is part of other views like hostproblems, srvproblems and so on and if it’s shown or not is controlled by javascript.
Maybe you can construct your own url to set the specific host to downtime. But I am not sure if this function will accept GET variables for this function. I never tried this.
