High CPU usage since upgarde to 2.1

2.1.0p3.cre (CheckMK RAW)

OS version:
CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009

Hello,

I’ve recently upgraded to version 2.1.0p3 from version 2.0.0p25.
since then I’m experiencing significantly higher CPU usage.
Is this because the new version requires more CPU resources?
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
