@louis you tell to use the “site user”, do you mean “cmkadmin”? That is only the checkmk user and has no “account” for SSH in the underlying ubuntu system.

No, “site user” is the Linux user account which “owns” the site’s files/directories and runs the processes. The user name is identical to the site name.
