We are using Checkmk Enterprise Edition.
For only one specific host, we are continuously receiving the host down error notification below. However, upon checking, we did not observe any actual ping issue. Within a few minutes, we also receive an OK alert for the same server.
Could you please suggest what might be causing this behavior and how we can debug or troubleshoot it further?

The notification you are showing is from the host state, in the second image you are showing the service Check_MK. Those are two differente things. The agent could be working fine but the ping to the host may be failing.
You need to check the host state to find where the alerts are coming from. You can see the host state if you click the hostname that appears in the page from the second image:

As addition to @d.ferrero’s points. You can also look to the configured host check attempts of this host. This setting we don’t see in your screenshots. If there is only 1 attempt configured you will get already a mail after only one missed ping.
