Host state up on port active / SSL checks

Heys guys
I added a lot of hosts with SSL certificate checks but I have some hosts where icmp is not allowed. I activated the the tcp check with SSL check and it’s possible to ping the server on the https port.

But how can I tell the host state to use ping on tcp port and not on icmp?

What I would like to have in the end is simply the host state up with ssl certificate check.

You can create a WATO rule for “Host Check Command” for this host.
Configure it to either use “TCP Connect” or (IMO better) “Use the status of the service…” of your ssl certificate check.
