How can I delete a parent?

Hello,

So I ran the Auto discovery network parent hosts. Got the parents for each device.
The problem is that I will have to delete a lot of those devices that have parents assign to them.
I tried to go to properties and uncheck the parent, tried to delete the parent (but the same error happens). What am I missing?
