If one printer tray is empty ("critical") -> all other trays change to "warning"

Dear community,

we’ve actually the problem that one empty printer tray sets all other trays of the printer to a “non-critical-alert” which causes a warning state. Has anyone an idea how to avoid this alert?

The check itself has the following description:

Check manual (for Checkmk based checks):
This check monitors the state of input units withing printers. It monitors the state provided and also outputs the filling state information provided by the printer.
The printer has to support the generic PRINTER-MIB.
By default the check outputs CRITICAL when either the printer reports 0% units remaining or reports a critical error state. A WARNING state is raised when a non-critical error is provided.
According the PRINTER-MIB it’s possible that a printer couldn’t determine how much is remaining in a supply, so the printer says “at least one remaining”.

Many thanks and best regards

Sebastian
