Install Check_MK agent on solaris 11

Good Day.

I am running Check_MK Agent 1.5.0p7 on Solaris 10 and Solaris 11.

I am trying to upgrade the Agent to 1.6.0p25, but I am not getting the pkg install/upgrade to work.

Can anyone please assist?

You may should provide us with some more information. What happens on the upgrade/install process? What errors are thrown. Which command line option you use for installation?

Hi @D-Rider ,

Unless your organization has created a custom package and publisher, Check_MK agent is not installed via the pkg command on Solaris 11.

The simplest way to upgrade is to replace the /usr/bin/check_mk_agent file with 1.6.0.p25 version. Also, update any plugins found in /usr/lib/check_mk_agent/plugins.
