Installation check_mk 2.1.0 RAW edition redhat 8

CMK version: 2.0.0p9 RAW
**OS version:Redhat 8

Hello,

Do you know how to install the version of check mk 2.1.x on a redhat8. Previously, we had already compiled rmp files. It no longer exists?

I followed the installation guide but there is only the yum or apt method.

Thank you in advance

I downloaded the file check-mk-raw-2.1.0p4.cre.tar.gz then:

1- decompress the file

2- ./configure

3 ./make

I have the following error:

make

Creating requirements.txt
Creating .venv…
scripts/run-pipenv: line 37: pipenv: command not found
make[1]: *** [Makefile:670: .venv] Error 1

please don’t compile checkmk yourself

rpm for RAW on rhel 8 are available for 2.1: Download Checkmk for free | Checkmk

Great !! thanks to you.

In fact I clicked on source code … which led me to the tar.gz file

thanks again

I used to use setup.sh back in v1.2.8 and specified my configuration through those prompts (see screenshot). How can I do this now? I dont see any setup.sh in the source tarball…

This is long gone. From the tarball you can only build a complete OMD package for installation.

Thanks for the reply.
I only use the product to supply status from Nagios to Nagvis and I’m not sure the whole OMD is what I want for that purpose.
Can I customize this for my particular setup as I do in the screenshot, or should I continue using the old version for that?
