Is there any news on this topic? We also urgently need AES256C to poll Cisco devices.

I’m happy to do that. But I’m a little surprised that this issue is being addressed so “rarely.” Cisco is one of the most important manufacturers, and many compliance rules enforce AES256. All of these devices cannot be monitored by checkmk. We will therefore not be setting up a larger installation with checkmk, but will have to use a different product. It’s a shame, really, and to the disadvantage of the company, because we use the commercial version.
