Many failed check-mk-agent@*.service systemd

Hi all,

I am also still facing this issue (also described in 14902 and 18094).

CMK Version: 1.6.0.p11 (RAW) -> so Werk #10710 doesn’t apply very well it seems.

The affected systems are Oracle Linux 7x VMs.

I’ve already increased service check interval and service_check_timeouts in tuning.cfg. The strange thing is that not all hosts are affected, but some are affected all the time. I couldn’t find any specific reason for this problem on the affected hosts.

I just want to be sure that the solution for this issue is to just exclude regex pattern within the systemd service rule?

Any advice is appreciated.

99% percent that you have an issue with selinux and xinetd& bakery.
Check /var/log/audit/audit.log and use the audit2allow tool.
