Dear Community,
I would like to ask you if there is an option to map a description from SNMP trap with host service’s name? I want to know if it is possible, because we are monitoring FS switches which have several interfaces and defined names which are shown as services. The main thing is that via SNMP traps, they send only their indexes without name and it is complicated for understanding - which index for which interface belongs. We tried to manage the switch, but there is no option to send interface’s name, only the index.
I searched information about additional script for EC, but i found only those ones for notification and adding it to custom button.
Do you have information if such mapping of trap description - service name is possible?
