I setup a cluster with 2 nodes, the active one and the passive one.
Since the active is working the passive one always shows with the “down” state, but I don’t want that.
Isn’t there a way to make it go away? I don’t think it makes a lot of sense having the hosts in the “down” hosts when it is a failover.
So one of your cluster nodes (the passive) is not online the whole time?
How does the cluster manager migrate the service in case of a failure of the active node?
Hi,
This is a failover device and should not respond until master appliance fails. It is a load balancer.
How do you configure the failover device? There must be at least something like a host IP to be able to configure it.
Both of them have an IP Address but the active one has the main IP Address that will be used in case the active one needs to migrate to the passive one
