Monitoring of HPE Synergy

Hi.
Anyone here having trouble or ambitions in monitoring HPE Synergy or latest HPE products in general? The latest generation seems to be quite tricky in several ways…

  • simple SNMP is not supported by HPE (especially in this case or even lately in general)
  • API is designed more or less for administration but not for monitoring configuration
  • the announced Nagios plugin by HPE is first very hard to find and then does not fullfill the requirements
  • using HPE’s InfoSight is not our favored tool

Hints and insiders are highly appreciated!

Why should the API be not designed for monitoring?
