Moving host to distributed site

When setting up a slave instance of CMK server, moving an existing monitored host to it results in RRD data loss. Is there a way to prevent this?

You can copy the rrd files from $OMD_ROOT/var/check_mk/rrd (CEE) or $OMD_ROOT/var/pnp4nagios/perfdata (CRE) to the new site. Both should be stopped while doing so.
