Failover: The check function of the plugin will be applied to each individual node. The worst outcome will determine the overall state of the clustered service. However only one node is supposed to send data, any additional nodes results will least trigger a WARNING state.
Config Optionen:
• preferred node: If provided, the service result is expected to originate from the preferred node. If the result originates from any other node, the service will at least be in a WARNING state (even if the result itself is OK).
• override automatic metric selection: Since all nodes yield metrics with the same name, Checkmk has to decide which nodes’ metrics to keep. By default, it will select the node that was crucial for the overall result (the preferred one if in doubt). You can override this automatism by specifying a node here.
