Needed test before the upgrade
- make a copy of your central site without historic data and remove all hosts from this copy
- upgrade the empty copy and test all your own / modified plugins and extensions
- if all works you can start the upgrade, if there are problems fix them
Stop the central site
Upgrade the central site
implement the updated extensions / plugins from your test site
Start the site and inspect if there are problems → if there are problems fix them first
Now upgrade all slaves and push the fixed config and plugins to the slaves.
