Only one notification when multiple Instances of the same Service are Critical

Hi,

we have some services which have multiple Instances.
E.g. the AIX Multipath Service can have up to 250 Instances (Multipath hdisk0 - Multipath hdiskxxx).

When we enable the Notification for this service we receive a lot of Notifications for the same host, depending of how many Multipath issues we have on the host at this time.

Has someone an idea how we can limit these Notifications for a host?

In the best case we want to have only one Notification with a message “250 Multipath issues occured on host myhost”

have you tried to setup “Notification Bulking”? You find this feature in your notification rule.

thanks for the hint, I will have a look at Notification Bulking. This seems to solve my question.
