Perf-O-Meter with negative values

Hello there,

I want to display a perf-o-meter where the value can be negative as well as positive.
I implemented a basic count matric and displayed the logarithmic perf-o-meter. But what I get is a value, which is displayed at the same position for -5 and 5 for example.
I think the best way to display it would be a centered 0 value. Then negative values could extend to the left and positive to the right site.
Ist that possible?
