Periodic service discovery is not working

Hello,
Periodic service discovery is not working, while if I run the service discovery manually on the host, some unmonitored services are shown.
This is the rule configuration:

Version: 2.3.0p11.cre (default)

Thanks in advance for your help.

LG.

Hello,

I have the same issue, that no matter how I set rules - I still get alarms/notifications. Even when I set all conditions to OK.
And am getting warnings, which can be quite annoying for K8s clusters, with pods going up/down often.

What can be done to eradicate vanished services and notifications on them?

The problem is here that your vanished services by itself are existing. The notification comes earlier than the 10 min + 15 min grouping interval of the service discovery.

A workaround or solution would be to configure a delay of 25min minimum for UNKN services.

Thank you Andreas.
You have been ever much help.

Could you please point me in right direction, because I could not find the option for selecting a differentiation between classification of messages (OK, CRIT, UNKN…).

Please keep in mind that if two periodic service discovery rules match the same host, only one of them will be applied, typically the first matching rule. Any additional matching rules will be ignored.
