"Persistent" ACK comments cannot be removed

Think of it like this: There are developers, there are consultants and there is time. Also, we stay Nagios-compatible. All these factors play into me asking this seemingly weird question. Sometimes one person is just unaware of the reasoning, sometimes there are historic reasons, that only a few people know. And sometimes a feature is only there, because Nagios has it and we need to stay compatible. In addition, a feature may outlife it’s usefullness. Hence, we sometimes ask this kind of questions, sometimes even on purpose, so we get a picture of what is out there. To boldly go and so on. :wink:
