We are currently replacing some inverters from eltek. Unfortunately, with the Smartpack 2 controllers the OID have changed. What would be the right way to get the changes into the plugins?

Make a copy of the existing plugins in the ~/local hierarchy and change the plugin name.
Changing OIDs means to create a new plugin. Otherwise the old OIDs could not be fetched any more.
