Real time graph monitoring SNMP

Hi,

I have tried to find a way to monitor some graphs at specific times in real time, like pulling values every 5 or 10 seconds but I wasn’t enable. Is this option available in check_mk and I am missing it?
This will be very useful for network monitoring when we are turning up or migrating traffic between circuits.

Thanks and best regards,
Diego

IMHO SNMP is not suitable for real time monitoring.

We have this option via cacti for instance but we are moving away from it to check_mk and that feature we find it quite useful, the graphing in real time is just for specific amount of time while we are doing some migration, not to keep it all the time running.

But this sure works only for single OIDs.

You could configure the Nagios Plugin check_snmp with a normal check interval of 10s to query a single OID if that is useful for you.

Checkmk always uses bulkwalk to query all info of an OID list. This takes quite some time and will not work for realtime monitoring.
