we have been using the cluster functionality quite often for services that have been put behind a Layer 4 load balancer (FortiADC with Direct Return) - and because we don’t monitor the load balancer this way, we configured the clusters with “No datasource” and the actual nodes with the Checmk agent.
Granted, we didn’t actually use any clustered services on those clusters, we just used it as a representation of our logical organisation.
This doesn’t work anymore now - what can we do? Just make the cluster objects regular hosts?
