Reset / Delete CheckMK Windows Agent Cache

Hi everyone!

I am trying to get to the bottom of a problem we have with our Log4j Checks on Windows servers. On some servers, the new Check Output is not send to the CheckMK server. On the CheckMK server it still shows the results of the first scan, including the check age, but the check doesn’t go stale or anything.
The Check is running asynchronous every 6h and terminates if it takes longer than 10min to complete.

I suspect a problem with the cached check results not refreshing properly or something.
But where are these stored on Windows servers? I coudn’t find anything in the documentation…


The cache on the Windows agent is a “in memory cache” only. To reset the cache you can restart the agent service.
