RRDtool errors in notification mails

Dear Checkmk Community,

since my organization upgraded to Version 1.6.0 we get RRDtool errors instead of graphs in notification mails.
But this not happens in all notification mails and also in the Web interface we don’t have problems with graphs.
We’re currently using Checkmk-Raw 1.6.0p11 on RHEL7.4.
Before we used 1.5.0p21 without these Problems.

Example image with error message from a ESXi Host that changed in the status down.
Also, mostly hosts were only Ping is monitored get this error instead of the graph when a notification is sent out.
(In notifications for example for Datastores changes over the vCenter the graphs are correct).

Has somebody an idea what can be the Problem?

Dear Community,

Is it possible to switch off the graphs for email notifications?
That would be our plan B if no one has an idea how to solve the problem.

Yes, you can disable the graphs for mail notifications:

This is a workaround although it would of course be better with the graphs.
