Should I configure a status_host when using liveproxyd?

I have quite an extensive distributed monitoring configuration with CEE and liveproxyd. For each distributed monitoring site we have a corresponding status host that performs a host check by checking port 6557.

I realise that liveproxyd has its own heartbeat mechanism to check the status of distributed monitoring connections.

Are there any problems in configuring a status_host for a distributed monitoring site when using liveproxyd? Is it better to leave the status_host undefined or does it not matter?

The status host is only needed in the Raw edition, liveproxyd is figuring out broken/slow connections itself.
