What is default timezone for check_mk to know the date time

Hi Team

i am using check_mk 1.6.
i wish to know the default timezone used for check_Mk .
if i want to enable notifications between 4 am to 8 pm PST time ,
how i can set the same in checkPMk GUI?
below is date shoing in my linux box Tue Apr 27 12:50:46 UTC 2021

checkmk uses the timezone of the service by default.

If you are using the appliance you can change that in the device settings of webconf.

If you run your own server it depends on the linux distribution used.

You can configure a timezone just for the site by setting the TZ environment variable in $OMD_ROOT/etc/environment to e.g. TZ=America/Los_Angeles.

After that restart the site with omd restart <sitename>.
