Situation: a nagios-based check plugin sometimes turns orange/unknown but that should be, in this specific case, considered okay.
I’m looking for an option to say “if this service is in state unknown (maybe with a specific message too), consider it okay” (but do dissplay warning/critical states). I’m not seeing anything looking like it would do this under “effective parameters of […]”
I found this very old post which sounds reasonably close, but don’t find the option in the search, so most likely it’s part of another edition or obsoleted.
Another option named service state translation is written about here, but just like the poster, I can’t find it either in CRE.
