Does anyone have a good idea on how to monitor an active site along with a cloud DR site? In the DR site, the hosts will be configured but turned down to save money, so they won’t be up.
Has anyone solved this problem before? Some will be zero’ed, so we are using the polling method at this time. We might have to look into the cloud edition.
what exactly do you want to monitor on the offline hosts in the cloud?
You can use the features of the cloud edition to monitor the VMs via the hyperscaler APIs but I fear, that there will not be many valuable Informations when the VMs are powered off.
