Problem description:
I’m currently monitoring Azure Entra ID and App Registration keys via the Azure special agent from our on-premises CheckMK setup. The monitoring generally works as expected.
However, when keys are created or deleted in Azure, the periodic service discovery configured in CheckMK doesn’t automatically detect these changes on the dummy hosts. If I manually trigger the service discovery via WATO, the updates appear correctly and immediately.
Is this behavior expected as a limitation of periodic service discovery with special agents, a known issue, or could I possibly be missing a configuration step?
Error message:
No explicit error messages are produced. The issue is solely with automatic discovery updates.
