AIX agent installation

In the documentation I have not found anything for the installation of AIX agents and in the forum there is a thread from 2011.

Hi Rahul, The way to install check_mk_agent on AIX is almost the same way as Linux. First of all, copy the file check_mk_agent.aix to /usr/bin/check_mk_agent. You have to specify the directories where the conf files and libraries are. This is done editing the check_mk_agent file : For example, replace : MK_LIBDIR="/to/be/changed" by MK_LIBDIR="/usr/lib/check_mk_agent" and MK_CONFDIR="/to/be/changed" by MK_CONFDIR="/etc/check_mk_agent" In the conf directory, you'll put files like mrpe.cfg…

Does anyone have more recent information or is it the same as the 2011 thread?
