I am looking for a way of detecting that expected SNMP message has not been received by CheckMK whitin a certain time interval. The wished reaction is a new record in “Event console”.
Is that possible?

yes, you’re already looking in the right place:
Please note, if you choose a weekly interval, the timezone offset is calculated from the start of unix timestamp i.e. 1970-01-01, which was a thursday
